Based on the FBI report released by the Criminal Justice Information Services Division, the Mower County Sheriff’s Office reported a total of 186 indexed crimes in 2017. Among the crimes reported were nine violent crimes, six rape crimes, one robbery, two aggravated assaults, 83 property crimes, 31 burglaries, 41 larceny-thefts, 11 motor vehicle thefts, and two arsons.
